Paper Preparation
Useful tools for authors
Before submission of Word and Latex documents, use JACoW’s Cat Scan Editor to obtain instant feedback on common formatting problems with your submission. With this tool you can make corrections to your paper before uploading to Indico, speeding up the editing process and reducing the time-to-publication.
More information can be found in this help.
To get citations of JACoW publications correctly formatted every time, use the JACoW search and tool for accelerator conference proceedings. Use this tool for all JACoW conference related citations, even for papers submitted to IPAC’24.
More information can be found in this help.
Instructions
All contributions properly presented at IPAC’24 by a registered author will be published in the conference proceedings on the JACoW.org website.
For every contribution authors are asked to submit a paper that respects the paper guidelines. Use of the official JACoW templates is mandatory – always download the latest version of the template (Word, LaTeX or OpenDocument) before starting to write a paper, even if you are an experienced author and/or have submitted a paper in a previous JACoW conference. Do NOT reuse the source file from a previous paper to avoid use of possibly old template parts. Be also aware that the official Overleaf template is not the latest: use the official one from the JACoW templates page.
The deadline for the submission of paper contributions to the proceedings is:
Wednesday, May 15, 2024 at 23:59 CDT (UTC-6)
The Editor-in-Chief reserves the right to refuse papers for publication that do not meet a reasonable level of preparation.
Quick summary
1. Download the official JaCoW templates.
2. Write your paper by following the paper guidelines.
3. Submit the paper through the IPAC24 Indico pages.
